An Industrial Control Transformer is a device that is used to step down or step up the output voltage from one level to another.
Industrial transformers are installed at various places like substations, power plants, transmission lines, etc. where high voltage is needed but low current is required for the load. The purpose served by this equipment is to reduce the output voltage so that less energy loss occurs during the transmission of power over long distances.
